Site Index In this and other questions in our current project, Did You Know Series, we need to let the readers know that your Foster Families Examiner is not an attorney. Therefore, can only offer you advice based on twelve years of experience in dealing in the Foster Care System, acting as an advocate for thousands of foster parents.
One Small Voice Part 1 - Can one small voice make a world of difference? Let us start off by using a quote, one of our group made the
following statement; Question; Do you think this is true? Can one small voice make a world of difference? Are you a small voice or are you a “don’t rock the boat” person? Here is a little experiment; Answer these questions, oh we know what you’re thinking, you don’t have to worry no-one is going to see your answers, except you. However, the questions may cause you to think; be truthful, are you ready?
Did you answer that you would do something about injustice, verbal abuse, changing this horrid system that is hurting so many people, then you might be an Advocate. Does this surprise you? Now we need to get you focused on the right type of advocacy.
If we the people have the power to
change things, that is we are many “small voices” united to
become a very loud, very powerful voice that can be
heard in Washington DC by way of our voting
voices. Why are children still being removed from
non-abusive homes, some of these children are not in eminent danger
as often declared by CPS. Original Post: http://www.examiner.com/x-46864-Foster-Families-Examiner~y2010m7d4-Foster-Parents-Did-you-know-One-small-voice--part-1-of-2 Return to One Small Voice Index Part 2 - Key word, accountable.
In part one we had just made a statement while explaining how
one small voice can make a difference in our world, and we
challenged you to be a small voice. How do you do that? The last
paragraph in part one needs repeated; remember it;
If we the people have the power to change things, our “small voices” need to unite to become a very loud, very powerful voice heard in Washington DC. through our voting voices, vote out the representatives who refuse to listen to our voices to hold CPS accountable, investigate this corrupt government entity. Wake them up and let them give an answer as to why children are repeatedly ripped from non-abusive homes, parents who are down on their luck, some of these children were not in eminent danger as declared by CPS. It is time to make them accountable to us, we the people. Yet they are not being held accountable. Why, because we the people are doing nothing about it, that is why! We are letting CPS tell us how to raise our children, take away our parental rights, while we sit and do nothing. Wake up America, the next victim’s could be your children, think it can’t happen to you, think again. In order to be a small voice that makes a difference you need to; Educate yourself; arm yourself with the ammunition of an education against this enemy. Get on your computer copy your State Statutes, codes. Others may not be as knowledgeable about computers as you are, make copies of the Statutes that are applicable to their particular situation. Prepare yourself to be the someone who pleads another’s cause, someone who fights for others on behalf of, or a belief. This is an advocate. Think the Constitutional/The Declaration of the United States, are just pieces of paper? Read them, study them know what they say and what rights they give you. Would you sit and allow
an enemy force to come in to take over your country?
Independence Day is the
right day to publish this article. Why are you sitting there in your armchairs, allowing CPS to do just that? Where can you go for truth, education tools on what to do, your questions answered? nfpcar.org We will educate you. Another group quote; “Stand up for something even if you stand alone”.
